Santa Barbara Spa Etiquette
In order to enhance your experience and maintain a tranquil environment for all guests, we have provided recommendations for you so that you know exactly what to expect for your visit.
Our spa receptionist will be happy to assist you with coordinating appointment times specifically for you. We ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your appointment in order to allow time to enjoy the amenities. We ask that you provide us with a credit card to confirm appointments.
Your appointment is reserved exclusively for you. In order to honor each guest experience, late arrivals will receive only the remaining time of the appointment.
Should you need to cancel your individual appointment, please notify us by phone at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. With parties of six or more, please notify us by phone at least 72 hours prior to your appointment. Appointments that are not cancelled with adequate notice will be subject to be charged in full.
For the convenience of our hotel spa guests, we do offer room charges. We accept all major credit cards and cash payments. Please, no personal checks. Gratuities for therapists are left to the discretion of each guest.
You are welcome to enjoy and relax in our private patio before or after your treatment. We do not take responsibility for lost or stolen items, therefore we recommend that you secure valuables elsewhere prior to your arrival. In order to preserve the serenity, we ask that you turn off your cell phones while in the spa.
Customized gift certificates are available for all treatments or in any dollar amount and may be purchased at the spa or by telephone. Gift certificates are not yet available for online purchase. Our gift cards never expire.
Please keep voices down in consideration of other spa guests.
If you enjoyed your services, it is customary to provide a 15% to 20% gratuity. An 18% gratuity will be charged for parties of six or more.
